34 years old After 13 years after dropping out of school to play basketball, Stephen Curry returns to school and receives a bachelor’s degree.
After putting his studies on hold for 13 years to concentrate on his NBA career, American basketball star Stephen Curry has returned to school.
The 34-year-old Stephen Curry should graduate from the liberal arts institution in North Carolina in 2010. He was able to postpone finishing his degree, though, when he joined the NBA in 2009.
Thirteen years later, Stephen Curry, who considers education to be one of his life’s ambitions, went back to school and earned his degree. He called the degree a “dream come true” and posted a number of pictures on social media to celebrate his accomplishment.
“Class of 2010—also known as 2022—but we succeeded! I’m grateful to my entire town for helping me cross the finish line. He posted on Instagram, “Made the promise when I left and had to see it through.”
His wife, Ayesha Curry, also sent congratulations to the 34-year-old star, who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors. She said she was thrilled to see Stephen realize his dream. “Proud would be an understatement! Congratulations my love. “YOU DID IT!” Ayesha wrote.
Stephen received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Davidson College, North Carolina, United States.
