Daniel Jinadu, a talented football player from Nigeria, graduated with a first-class honors degree in psychology from the University of East London in the United Kingdom.
Nigerian football player Daniel Jinadu, 21, played for the Golden Eaglets in the 2019 U17 World Cup. Before joining West Ham United in December 2017, where he started a two-year scholarship in the summer of 2018, he started his football career with Chelsea.
Daniel made five appearances with the U18 squad while he was with West Ham United, but he had trouble making the starting lineup. He played for several well-known football teams like Barnsley FC, Dartford FC, and Margate FC after leaving West Ham United.
He now plays in the English Premier League 2023 and is the goalkeeper for Maidenhead United. Daniel posted on Instagram about his accomplishment of graduating from college with a degree.

He revealed that, in spite of playing football full-time, he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with first-class honors. Daniel revealed that juggling his academics and football career has been a challenging experience.
“Whoa! I recently received my First Class Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UEL! Sticking with my degree while playing football has changed everything, from my first season as a pro at West Ham until today,” he stated.
“It’s been my compass during the football journey, providing a window into a world beyond the field,” he continued. According to Daniel, a football career is inherently uncertain, with injuries and other variables having the potential to alter conditions.
Daniel asserted that in order to ensure a career off the field, it is critical to pursue education in addition to athletics.
”In football, the clock’s always ticking, and one injury can change everything. That’s why doing something alongside the game is so important,” he said.
Daniel mentioned that he will be starting his Masters in Sport & Exercise Psychology immediately and at the same time play for Maidenhead United with the mission of remaining consistent and emphasizing the importance of cultivating an identity beyond the realm of football.
