The following scholarship packages are awarded to the recipient of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarship:

Scholarship for Tamim: These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and merit. It honors the most eminent foreign and Qatari students in the Arab world.

• Full coverage of tuition fees
• Free housing in the institute’s dorms will be advantageous to international students from outside Qatar.
• Health insurance
• A monthly stipend
• Upon arrival and upon graduation, two tickets for travel to and from the home country
• Grant conditions alter students’ legal position in the State of Qatar only with the Institute’s approval; students are not entitled to the benefits of changing the grant or claiming monetary allowances for benefits that do not benefit from them.The Institute may make the scholarship application available to students who have earned an excellence degree after just one academic year at the Institute in an effort to promote academic excellence.

Sanad Scholarship: These awards are given to students based on their financial need. It is devoted to Qataris, Qatari residents, and foreign students.

Qualifications for the Scholarship at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies

The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarship:

  • Arabic and English are required languages.
  • Have a Qatari mother or nationality.

A Qatari applicant must:

  • Complete high school with an overall grade of 80% or above, with at least 80% in science, math, and English.
  • A current or prior year’s valid secondary school certificate.
  • Proficiency in English as follows:
  • TOEFL iBT score: 70, TOEFL CBT score: 196.
  • IELTS: at least 5.5 in each section (at least 5.5 in both writing and reading).

The Qatari mother applicant must:

• Earn a high school diploma with an overall grade of 90% or above, with at least 90% in science, math, and English.
• A current or prior year’s valid secondary school certificate.
• Proficiency in English as follows:
• TOEFL iBT score: 70, TOEFL CBT score: 196.
• IELTS score: 6 with at least 5.5 in each section (at least 5.5 in both writing and reading).
• Clear the company’s medical examination.
• Acquire a certificate of police clearance.
• Unless a university offer is obtained from a list of universities authorized for the Emiri Scholarship Program, high school freshmen are required to undergo National Service.
• Accept the division and workspace that Qatar Airways has designated.
• Succeed in an in-person interview with the business.

  • A letter of offer from a university in a field that the company has authorized.(Third-party foundations are unacceptable.)

 

How Can I Apply for a Scholarship at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies?

To apply for this scholarship, please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Open the DI admissions portal and submit an application.
  2. Only one application may be submitted by each applicant. Applications that are submitted twice will be rejected.
  3. Candidates can apply in many sessions and store their application progress.
  4. All application materials must be uploaded through the internet site.
  5. Through the online application system, candidates can submit online reference requests.
  6. Referees can complete the reference forms online and automatically get the reference request.
  7. Applicants can generate a new reference request or remind a referee after submitting their application, and they can check the progress of their references online.

Eligible Document: 

  • For foreign applicants, the identification document is the passport. Qatari ID for Qatari nationals and inhabitants.

Transcripts of undergraduate studies. Students in their senior year should turn in all of their transcripts to date.

  • Results from the TOEFL or IELTS, or a formal declaration attesting to the degree’s primary instruction in English.
  • Individual Statement.
  • Academic Essay (for students applying to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences).

Selection Procedure for Admission:

The Admissions Department makes certain that every candidate satisfies the conditions and prerequisites for admission. All admission applications are examined according to the following steps:

1) Evaluation of Transcripts

In order to verify that candidates have earned the minimum grades specified in the attached table, the admissions staff reviews the transcripts that are provided.

 2) Academic Assessment

The members of the academic review committee for each program evaluate all applicants who make it past the transcript evaluation stage. 3) Assessment of the Interview
