2025 KAS Scholarship in Germany (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung) | Fully Funded
With great pleasure, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation announces the opening of the 2025 KAS Scholarships, which will allow international students to study and do research in Germany.
The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship offers financial assistance in the form of a €1,400 monthly stipend, a €470 family allowance, and €1,500 per semester for tuition at the German university.

Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship 2025 Conditions:
Candidates must:
- hold a university degree in order to be eligible for the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship, as we do not support bachelor’s degrees,
They must:
- demonstrate above-average academic performance;
- have good German language proficiency (B2-level);
- be actively involved in volunteer work;
- intend to attend a German university for at least four semesters;
- have a broad general education and a clear interest in political issues;
- have a positive attitude toward democracy and human rights;
- be open to developing their own points of view and practice tolerance;
- be highly motivated and able to persuade us of their life’s objectives.
Duration and Reward of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung KAS Scholarship
- Ph.D. students receive a monthly scholarship of €1,400, while graduates (master’s or postgraduate students) receive €934.
- You can receive a refund of up to €1,500 per semester for costs associated with university courses in Germany that are directly relevant to your studies.
- The scholarship also covers other expenses including family allowance, kid allowance, and travel money.

Required Records for the Scholarship of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung
Candidates must submit the following paperwork in order to apply:
- A meaningful, tabular CV that includes information about your prior volunteer work or social commitments.
- Motivation letter.
- Copies of your examination certificates in German translation if the originals are not in English.
- Copies of your studies performance records if you have been studying at a University in Germany.
- Proof of German language skills (B 2).
- An informal academic letter of recommendation
- An informal letter of recommendation concerning the applicant’s personality
- Certificate of admission or matriculation from your university in Germany.
When submitting an application for a PhD scholarship, please include the following files:
- A confirmation of supervision by your doctor-father or -mother;
- A second academic letter of recommendation;
− A thorough synopsis of your PhD thesis.
