Twin Brothers, the top graduating high school student in the United States, get $5 million in scholarships to 30 universities.
The top graduating students from St. Anthony High School are twin brothers, Joseph and Joshua Garcia. They received scholarships totaling $3 million to attend 30 universities as a result of their exceptional accomplishment.
The twins, Joshua and Joseph Garcia, are from Wisconsin. At St. Anthony High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the class of 2024 graduated with Joseph as valedictorian and Joshua as salutatorian.
Their high school announced their accomplishment, stating that their exceptional college acceptances were a result of their diligent efforts. The Garcia twins received scholarships totaling $3 million and were accepted to 30 universities and colleges.
Prestigious colleges and universities like Lawrence University, Lehigh University, St. Olaf College, and the University of Richmond welcomed them. They filed 40 applications, according to the statement, and their choices were as varied as their skills.

The Garcia twins told WTMJ, an NBC affiliate, that they have supported and encouraged one another to achieve since they were young. Joshua remarked, “We were always competing with one another to see who could complete their homework the fastest and correctly.”
According to Joseph, the fact that their parents did not pursue higher education also motivated them. “Being the first to go through that process was very important, especially for our family,” he said.
Joshua said he is proud of their achievement as the first members of their family to enroll in college and thanked their teachers for their consistent support.
In the United States, the Garcia brothers intend to enroll in Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Joshua wants to major in computer science and criminal justice with hopes of earning a master’s degree in cybersecurity and working for the FBI, while Joseph wants to major in music theory and composition and hopes to become a conductor.
