The University of Ibadan in Nigeria’s top graduating master’s student is a young pharmacist.
Olabimpe Olayinka, a young pharmacist from Nigeria, is the University of Ibadan’s (South-West Nigeria) 2021 top graduating master’s student.
The University of Ibadan awarded Olabimpe Olayinka a First Class Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in Pharmacognosy and Clinical Pharmacy in 2016. She then went to work as a clinical pharmacist intern at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
After completing her internship, she enrolled in the University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Pharmacy to pursue a master’s degree.
Despite the challenging academic sessions marked by the pandemic and numerous strikes by the academic staff, Olabimpe expressed her joy at being named the University of Ibadan’s top graduating student.
She claimed to have received a miracle in a Linkedin post, stating that she was surprised to receive the award for being the university’s greatest student at her convocation on November 16, 2021.
I am happy to report that I have finished my Master’s degree in Pharmacognosy at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s Faculty of Pharmacy. I received my award on November 16, 2021, which was a tremendous and amazing surprise that was worthy of celebration during my convocation.

She said on Linkedin, “This excites me because the journey that began in May 2018 ended with an awesome achievement in November 2021.”

Being a First Class Clinical Pharmacist, Olabimpe is able to effectively find, manufacture, and give pharmaceuticals and remedies to all people worldwide. She expressed gratitude to God, her family, and her professors for supporting her throughout her academic career.
