The Africa Institute Scholarship in the United Arab Emirates is accepting applications for the 2025 Global Studies University Scholarship.
The Master’s programs aim to address the most significant and urgent issues in the study of modern-day Africa, spanning the depth and breadth of the social sciences and humanities.
Understanding the value of multidisciplinary approaches, our MA program is organized into three tracks:
Afro-Arab Relations; Diplomacy and Africa’s International Relations; Museum and Critical Heritage Studies
Qualifications for the 2025 Africa Institute Scholarship
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an independently accredited university with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0, or its equivalent, in order to be eligible for the Africa Institute Scholarship.
- Both the university you are applying to and the Higher Education Affairs Division of the UAE Ministry of Education should acknowledge it.
- Official transcripts and graduation certificates from their bachelor’s degree, both certified by the UAE Ministry of Education, must be submitted by applicants. A legal translation is necessary if the transcript and bachelor’s degree are not in English.
If the Bachelor’s degree was achieved outside the UAE, applicants must present an equivalency certificate of their degree from the UAE Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Affairs Division. This is to guarantee that the UAE will accept the foreign degree.
