Teniola Apata, a Nigerian singer, has given her high school teacher, who helped her succeed years ago, a brand-new automobile.
Teniola recognized the tremendous contribution of her math teacher, Ofudje, when she returned to her secondary school, Apata Memorial High School, to commemorate 2022 World Teachers Day.
“I decided to buy you a car because I wanted to show my appreciation for your hard work, diligence, and integrity,” she stated.

According to a Facebook post by a staff of the school, Ofudje was Teni’s best teacher” back then in school. “Teni surprised one of our teachers today with a lexus car. Mr Ofudje taught Teni, he was her best teacher back then and she came back to appreciate him. Hard working Mr Ofudje, we celebrate you sir,” the staff explained.
The World Teachers’ Day is held annually on the 5th of October to celebrate all teachers around the globe. Teachers across the world are celebrated with many showing gratitude for their contributions to the community.
