For international students, the Singapore International Graduate Award 2025–2026 offers full funding. This fellowship is available for research studies leading to a PhD. Tuition, a $2,000 monthly stipend, a $1,000 one-time settling-in allowance, and a $1,000 one-time flight award are all covered by the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA).
The Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) have partnered to offer the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA). Scholarship Reports
tuition expenses; a monthly stipend of S$2,700, which will rise to S$3,200 upon passing the qualifying exam; a one-time travel award of up to S$1,500; and a one-time settling-in allowance of S$1,000 are all covered by the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA).
Qualifications for the Singapore International Graduate Award
You must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the Singapore International Graduate Award:
• All nations worldwide are eligible; English is the required language.
• All overseas graduates with a strong interest in research and stellar academic records are eligible to apply.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency;
• Positive evaluations from academic referees.
How Can I Apply for the International Graduate Award from Singapore?
To be eligible for the Singapore International Graduate Award, please adhere to these guidelines:
(1) Browse the projects that interest you by going to Research Areas. From this point:
- A*STAR Supervisors and Projects (Aug intake only)
- NTU Colleges and Schools (Jan and Aug Intakes)
- NUS Graduate School (Aug intake only)
- SMU School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) (Aug intake only)
- SUTD Pillars/Clusters and Research Centres (Aug intake only)
(2) Before applying, get the following paperwork ready:
• A passport or identification card.
• A current passport-sized photograph (in.png or.jpeg format).
• Academic transcripts for a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• A bachelor’s degree certificate or scroll, or if one has not yet been awarded, a letter of certification from the university attesting to your candidacy.
• A minimum of two recommendation reports, which the referees must fill out and submit online.
(3) Sign up here.
(4) Select the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) after logging into your account and clicking Apply to Scholarship.
(5) Complete the application.
Notes:
• No hard copies of documents should be mailed to the SINGA Office. All required paperwork must be turned in online.
• All transcripts must be translated into English.
• Results from the GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I and II, and GATE are optional.
• It is advised to finish the essay questions using a word processor separate from the application page, then copy and paste the finished essays into the appropriate questions.
•After submitting the application forum, please make sure that your referee rapport is submitted within 7 working days.
