The British Council Teachers Training Scholarship’s eligibility requirements
You must have either a relevant PhD or Master’s degree, or an acknowledged equivalent, or a 2:1, or expected 2:1, in a Bachelor of Honours degree (or equivalent) in order to be eligible for the British Council Teachers Training Scholarship.
In one of the following languages:
- o Spanish, German, or French
- A 2.2 (or expected 2.2) if you can show a high level of proficiency in the target languages, or a bachelor of honors degree (or equivalent) in another discipline, may also be taken into consideration by the British Council.
- By September 2025, you must also have a spot reserved for the 2025–2026 academic year on an approved non-salaried languages teacher training program in England.
