Qualifications for Scholarships at the University of Adelaide

Candidates must meet all of the requirements listed below in order to be eligible for the University of Adelaide Scholarship for International Students:
• English is the required language.

• Countries of Eligibility: Available to citizens of Bangladesh, Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, and Sri Lanka who are enrolled as international students and those who have earned their most recent degrees in Australia;

• Candidates who have proven they have attained the following minimal score will be eligible to be considered for a 50% scholarship:

• Candidates seeking admission to an undergraduate (UG) program who have an ATAR of 99.9 or above.

  • Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) or graduate (PG) programs who have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale or a similar score.
    • Candidates for admission to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide (or a similar score for studies completed at an Australian university where studies are completed in Australia).
    • A Scholarships Committee will then evaluate applicants to determine their eligibility for the scholarship offer.
