A bright Nigerian man named Ridwan Soneye has secured an Architecture degree with first class ar the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife Nigeria.

With an impressive cumulative grade point average of 4.66 over the possible 5.00, Ridwan earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture. He posted about his accomplishment on LinkedIn, claiming that it took him eleven years to complete his degree program.

Prior to pursuing his bachelor’s degree, he obtained a National Diploma in Architectural Technology from the Federal Polytechnic Ilar, Nigeria. According to Ridwan, there were many experiences, obstacles, setbacks, development, commitment, and turning points along the way.

He remarked, “It’s been an 11-year journey from secondary school to now, full of experiences, challenges, delays, growth, dedication, and milestones, but really, delay isn’t denial.”

He participated in extracurricular activities at school in addition to being an outstanding student. In 2021–2022, Ridwan served as the regional coordinator of the West National Association of Architecture Students, Nigeria, and as president of the Ife Architecture Student Association OAU chapter.

Ridwan expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him during his academic path and said he is happy to have accomplished the milestone of being the greatest student in his department. He expressed his excitement for the upcoming exciting phase of his life.

In a different tale, Ifeanyi Monday Udeh, a young Nigerian guy who struggled to pay for his education, received six scholarships and finished first in his class.

Ifeanyi earned first-class honors with a total grade point average of 4.73 out of a possible 5.00 for his bachelor’s degree in accounting. On LinkedIn, he celebrated his accomplishment by stating that he graduated in the top 1% of his class.
