After Andrew and Nicola Forrest donated $65 million over ten years through the Minderoo Foundation, the Forrest Research Foundation (often known as “the Foundation”) at The University of Western Australia was founded in 2014. By luring the next generation of brilliant minds to Western Australia, their donation will help the state become a world-class hub for research and innovation.
The purpose of the Forrest Research Foundation Research Fellowships is to recruit and support exceptional post-doctoral researchers in their early careers so they can do top-notch research at a university in Western Australia.
Forrest Fellows will be individuals with the highest level of academic performance, extraordinary talent and ingenuity, and the capacity to change the world. They will contribute to Western Australia’s development of top-notch research and innovation capabilities.
