Global The following advantages are offered to the winner of the Max Planck Research School PhD Scholarship:
• For a maximum of four years, the IMPRS-CellDevoSys ensures complete financial assistance for your PhD studies. The IMPRS does not allow PhD projects to last longer than four years.
• According to 65% TvöD E13 (German tariff for civil service employees), financial assistance is provided through an employment contract.
• The contract covers health insurance, pension contributions, and other social benefits. After taxes and deductions, PhD students’ net take-home compensation is at least 1,700 euros a month.

 

Qualifications for the PhD Scholarship at the International Max Planck Research School

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for the International Max Planck Research School PhD Scholarship:
• English is the required language.

If their prior affiliation with a research group lasted no more than 12 months, they may join it for the purpose of working on their PhD thesis.
• To be invited for interviews, internal candidates must exhibit exceptional performance and the highest potential.
• Evaluation Procedure: Eligible applications that have been completed will be evaluated. Internal experts from the relevant educational system conduct the initial review, which considers the applicants’ national educational system.
