International students can apply for NL scholarships from the Holland Government for the 2024–2025 school year. This award is open for undergraduate and masters studies and gives the recipient with € 5,000 which may be used to cover tuition fees.
Non-EEA overseas students can apply for NL Scholarships to study at Dutch research universities and applied scientific universities in Holland for undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science grants the Holland Scholarship to deserving students.

Scholarship Coverage
The laureate of the NL Scholarship receives €5,000 in scholarship funds.

Qualifications for the NL Scholarship
In order to be eligible for the NL Scholarship, applicants need to meet all of the requirements listed below:
English is a required language, and international students from non-EEA nations are eligible.
• You are submitting an application to one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program.
• You are not an EEA national.
• You fulfill the particular prerequisites of the school of your choosing. These are available on the institution’s website. Click here to learn more.
• You have not earned a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
How can I apply for the NL Scholarship?
To be eligible for the NL Scholarship, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Submit an NL Scholarship application. Go here.
2. An overview of participating research universities, applied science universities, and universities in specific fields of study is available.
3. Write a 500-word letter of inspiration to the university outlining your reasons for being a gifted student, taking into account both your extracurricular and academic accomplishments (such as volunteer work).
4. Specify that you are applying for the NL Scholarship in your online application, and if required, attach your letter of motivation for the scholarship. The university will get in touch with you to inform you of your scholarship award.
