Joint Master’s Degree in Food Innovation and Product Design (FIPDes) offered by Erasmus Mundus
It is the first course designed to address the worldwide issues of product design, packaging, and food innovation. In order to provide sound, sustainable, and healthful food solutions for the planet’s future generations, FIPDes is educating a new generation of food professionals who can collaborate across national boundaries.
Four universities are joined via this joint master’s program. Offering this genuinely complete and distinctive program, these universities—among the oldest and most esteemed establishments in Europe—adopt a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach, covering everything from initial conception to prototypes to consumption, from raw materials to packaged items. Scholarship Reports
A subsistence allowance for the duration of the EMJMD study program, a contribution to student travel and installation expenses, and student participation costs (such as tuition, full insurance coverage, and any other required costs associated with student participation in the course) are all included in the EMJMD scholarships.
Qualifications for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree FIPDes
These factors should be taken into account in order to qualify for the Master of Food Innovation and Product Design (FIPDes) Program:
• English is a required language, yet you will also have the chance to learn French throughout the course.
• All nations worldwide are eligible.
• Background: Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent degree in food science and technology, biotechnology, process engineering, biochemistry, nutrition, or food-related fields with a minimum of 180 ECTS or equivalent, plus several prerequisites (such as chemistry, biotechnology, process technology/engineering, biochemistry, mathematics, and statistics) from a foreign university or college. In addition to wanting an international job, candidates should be interested in an academic experience that is genuinely global.
- English language competency level: “B2 level” (advanced according to the CEFR) as shown in one of the following ways:
• A minimum score of 575 on the TOEFL.
• A TOEFL score of at least 90 on the internet.
• An IELTS score of at least 6.5.
• The Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE, CAE, or FCE with B2 level).
• Pupils who speak English as their first language (a copy of their passport is required to verify this).
• Students who have earned a degree in higher education where English was the primary language of instruction (proof of this must be shown by a university certificate). - Staying in an English-speaking country for more than a year (proof of this must be provided by a copy of the passport page proving a visa to enter and exit the English-speaking country, or a certificate from the employer or another appropriate source).
• Outstanding students with a lesser level of English proficiency may be granted an exception.
