Regarding the Undergraduate Program:
Eligible applicants must:
• Have completed senior secondary school, or roughly 12 years of schooling, with good grades in their major subjects;
• Not be receiving any other scholarships; and
• Be in good health and willing to submit to medical testing upon selection.

A minimum of “Very Good” academic standing is required for the Master’s program, and employment and/or research experience is preferred.

Write a research proposal outlining the program’s scientific and developmental significance for the community or nation in one of its subject areas.

Have good health and be open to undergoing testing after being chosen.

To pursue a PhD, you must:

Hold a Master’s degree in one of the program’s subject areas.

Possess at least a “Very Good” academic status;

Preferably have research and/or professional experience.

Write a research proposal outlining the program’s scientific and developmental significance for the community or nation in one of its subject areas.

Have good health and be open to undergoing testing after being chosen.

Regarding Post-Doctoral Studies:
• Possess a PhD in one of the program’s authorized fields.
• Possess a minimum academic status of “Very Good.”
• Possess at least two (2) years of expertise in the research field.
• Must have a track record of research and publications in the same discipline.
• Write a research proposal outlining the program’s scientific and developmental significance for the community or nation in one of its subject areas.
• Have good health and be open to undergoing testing after being chosen.
Regarding Training in Vocational Education (VET):
• Nationals of any one of the 21 IsDB LDMC nations.
• Be medically fit and willing to submit to medical testing following selection;
• Have completed high school with at least good grades in main subjects; and
• Have not received any other scholarships.

Requirements: 
• Be in good health and consent to medical examinations upon selection.
• Adhere to the IsDB’s prescribed Scholarship Agreement, which commits them to their studies and to serve their communities and countries after graduation;
• Commit to their studies full-time and uninterrupted, and regularly report their progress to the IsDB;
• Avoid seeking or accepting other scholarships or paid employment while enrolled in the Program;
• Uphold good personal and professional conduct in accordance with the IsDB’s overall mission and the rules, regulations, and programme objectives;
