Applications for the 2025 Universitas Islam GREAT Scholarship have now commenced.
The fully financed Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia Scholarship includes the tuition of selected students, visa and airline charges, health insurance, settlement, and living cost allowances of 3,500,000 per month.

2025 Specifics:
The Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) Scholarship offers financial aid for selected applicants to give them the opportunity to pursue a graduate education of their choice at UIII.
The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding and emerging young leaders from all over the world who have these leadership qualities and a solid academic background to pursue Master’s (MA) degree.
The selection procedure is in three stages:
- The Administrative selection: applicants who have provided all relevant documentation assessed.
- Interview: Based on the quality of their applications and how well they perform in the selection interview or interviews, applicants will be evaluated for admission.
- Desk review: this will lead to the shortlisting of applicants. Emails will be sent to those who have been shortlisted for a selection interview or interviews.
Eligibility Requirements for 2025 Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia Scholarship
Applicants must not be older than 35 for the Master’s program and 40 for the Doctoral program in order to be eligible for the 2025 Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia Scholarship program.
- Currently pursuing another degree.
- Receiving a scholarship for a degree from another institution
- Recipient of the scholarship may not concurrently hold any other fellowship, grant, bursary, award, scholarship, or allowance without prior approval from the University.
- Unable to meet Indonesian government requirements for international student entry to Indonesia (visa, health, etc.).
Benefits of the 2025 Universitas Islam GREAT Scholarship include:
- Full tuition fee waiver (for a maximum of four semesters);
- Assistance with student visa applications, VITAS, and stay permits (only once);
- Economy class return ticket allowance (up to IDR 10,000,000, divided into IDR 5,000,000 for departure and return);
- Settlement cost allowance (IDR 1,500,000, one-time payment);
- Health insurance allowance (up to IDR 400,000 per month); and
- Living allowance (IDR 3,500,000 per month, including accommodation).
Documents Needed for the Scholarship at Universitas Islam International Indonesia
In order to be eligible for the Universitas Islam International Indonesia Scholarship, applicants need to have the following paperwork ready:
- A master’s or undergraduate degree
- Academic transcript for an undergraduate or graduate degree;
- Purpose statement;
- Complete curriculum vitae (in tabular form)
- Certificate of proficiency in Arabic (for candidates solely to the Faculty of Islamic Studies)
- Certificate of fluency in English
- Two letters of recommendation or reference
- A sample of academic writing (for PhD students)
- A succinct research proposal

- Upload the proof of payment and pay the $100 entry registration charge.
