Scholarship Coverage

The following advantages are offered to recipients of Indonesian Government KNB Scholarships:
• Upon arrival in Indonesia, new students will receive a Settlement Allowance of IDR 1,250,000;
• During the Master Program, KNB students will receive a monthly Living Allowance of IDR 2,550,000 per month while enrolled in Indonesian language courses and preparatory programs.

Qualifications for the Indonesian Government’s KNB Scholarships

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible for Indonesian Government KNB Scholarships:
• Languages Needed: English
Undergraduate: Possess the following score on the English Proficiency Test: IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL score of 80, and TOEIC score of 700.
– Masters: Have a minimum score of 80 on the IBT TOEFL, 6.0 on the IELTS, or 700 on the TOEIC (the certificate must be received within the last two years).
A doctorate requires a score of 90 on the TOEFL IBT or 7.0 on the IELTS, or a comparable test (the certificate must be earned within the last two years).

Undergraduate:
1. The maximum age is twenty-five.
2. Hold a high school diploma (please send a scanned copy of your academic transcripts and degree certificate in English). Please be aware that those who hold a master’s degree are not qualified to apply for the scholarship.
3. Provide a letter of recommendation from the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General to apply for the KNB scholarship.

Masters: 
1. The upper age limit is 35.
2. Holds a bachelor’s degree (please send a scanned copy of their academic transcripts and degree certificate in English). Please be aware that those who hold a master’s degree are not qualified to apply for the scholarship.
3. Attain a minimum score of 80 on the IBT TOEFL, 6.0 on the IELTS, or 700 on the TOEIC (the certificate must be received within the last two years).
4. Provide a letter of recommendation from the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General to apply for the KNB scholarship.

Doctorate:

3. Obtain a letter of recommendation from the prospective research supervisor at one of the KNB Scholarship’s partner universities.
