Fully Funded 2025 DLA Piper Global Scholarship Program
The two-year DLA Piper Global Scholarship program helps gifted legal students (Fellows) from underdeveloped nations realize their full potential and advance the rule of law in their local communities.
The DLA Piper Law Scholarship pays for all of the expenses associated with transportation, meals, lodging, visas, and university tuition for the length of the scholarship. Selected students will also receive laptops.

Details of the DLA Piper Global Scholarship
Up to 50 students, known as Fellows, from Africa, South and West Asia, the South Pacific, and Latin America are sponsored annually by the DLA Piper Global Scholarship. We currently have fifty fellows from fourteen different nations.
Over the course of their customized two-year program, students receive complete tuition reimbursement in addition to job preparation, training, internships, and mentoring aimed at enhancing their networks, abilities, and confidence. Students join our global alumni program when they graduate.
Collaboration with universities and other educational institutions, our clients, governments, and, of course, our people is essential to the initiative’s success. Our objective is to assist students in advancing their careers in whichever direction they choose; it is not a recruitment tool.
Qualifications for the 2025 DLA Piper Law Scholarship
You must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the DLA Piper Law Scholarship:
• Be a citizen of the nation from which you are applying;
• Be a law student in your final to second year of study in your home country; or • Have earned a law degree and been accepted to pursue a Master’s degree in a related field in your home country;
• Be achieving, or be expected to achieve, a first-class degree, or be in the top 10% of your class;
• Have a good command of spoken and written English, as this will guarantee that you can participate fully in the program.

Benefits of the DLA Piper Global Scholarship include:
- Full tuition reimbursement for the two-year scholarship period at the university

Interested and eligible applicants for the 2025 DLA Piper Global Scholarship should:

• Please be aware that in order to support your application, you will need to upload the following documents (in either PDF or Microsoft Word format):
o Your academic transcript from university, which serves as proof of your grades.
o A reference letter from your university, written by the dean of the law school, the head of the department, or one of your instructors.
o You must also send us a two-minute or less video in which you introduce yourself and explain your decision to pursue a legal education.
