You must be a domestic or international student applying to a Higher Research Degree (HDR) Master’s or PhD program, meet the entrance requirements for your program of choice, and meet the University of Sydney’s English language proficiency requirements in order to be eligible for the Australian National University RTP Scholarship.
Australian National University RTP Scholarship 2025 Advantages
The annual value of the Australian Government’s Research Training Program is $36,652.
• Three-year stipend scholarship with the potential of:
o A six-month standard extension; and
o An extra six-month extension if the request is made for a reason that qualifies for the additional eligibility requirements under AGRTP Procedure Item 15. Period of Support.
For students moving to Canberra to start their research program, travel and relocation expenses are covered.
