Scholarship Reports
According to local laws, the recipient of the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program is entitled to free tuition and use of the university’s resources.Scholarship recipients who have completed three years of higher education and earned a diploma receive PLN 1500 a month, while those who have completed comprehensive higher education—which is equivalent to five years of master’s studies in Poland—receive PLN 2200.The beneficiaries will get a certificate attesting to their attendance at the host institution at the conclusion of the research studies; this certificate will be issued upon the institution’s financial clearance and receipt of the requested reports.
The following benefits are offered by UNESCO to the recipient:
• UNESCO will pay for international travel expenses from the beneficiary’s country to and from Poland (using the most direct, cost-effective route) through its Regular Program Budget.
• Health insurance for recipients of fellowships who are deemed medically fit: The Organization may provide UNESCO fellowship holders with health insurance coverage for the term of their fellowship. On behalf of the granted fellows, UNESCO subscribes to and pays for the costs of this health insurance.
Qualifications for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program
The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program:
English is the required language, and the following nations are eligible: List of invited Member States with the ability to apply
• A minimum of an MS, MSc, or BS, BSc degree.
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Only individuals under 45 who are in good health are eligible for fellowships. When a case can be presented, exceptions could be taken into consideration.
• The invited Member State must submit its candidacies.
• Students and youth from poor nations are highly encouraged.

How may I apply for the Poland Fellowship Program of UNESCO?
To apply for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program, please do the following actions:
1. Fill out an online application.
2. Applications must include the following DUPLICATE attachments:
3. All four (4) pages of the UNESCO fellowship application forms, including the medical certificate, must be filled out in English using capital letters; unreadable documents will be removed from consideration; handwritten forms must only contain capital letters;
4. Two 4×6 centimeter photos that are affixed to the applications;
5. Acquired certified copies of bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees in English; and,
6. If the candidate’s mother tongue is not English, a properly completed UNESCO certificate of language proficiency from an appropriate body is required.
7. Two recommendation letters from individuals familiar with the applicant’s work that attest to the applicant’s credentials.
8. Duplicate original applications must be sent to Mr. Stoyan Bantchev, Chief, Participation Program and Fellowships Section, at the UNESCO postal address via the candidate’s nation’s National Commission for UNESCO.
