Bill Gates’ 23-year-old son, Rory Gates, earned a master’s degree in creative writing and a double major from the University of Chicago.
Many people previously claimed that Rory Gates, the only son and second of three children of Bill and Melinda French Gates, had graduated from Duke University with an MBA in Computer Science and Economics.
However, his elder sister Jennifer Gates, shared the success of her brother, Rory, stating that he earned a double major and Master’s degree in 4 years. Rory’s majors included Law courses. “Celebrating Rory’s graduation from the University of Chicago this weekend,” Jennifer wrote in June 2022.

The three siblings, who were thrilled to see Rory graduate from the University of Chicago, posed for a picture with Rory clutching his Bachelor of Arts degree certificate. “I’m very proud of you,” Jennifer continued.
According to Rory’s mother, Melinda French Gates, her son is a bright individual.
He is perceptive, well-read, and knowledgeable about a variety of topics that pique his interest. He is a wonderful brother and son. He has inherited his parents’ infatuation for riddles. Regarding her son, Melinda French Gates said, “But one of the things that makes me proudest is that Rory is a feminist.”
Phoebe, Rory’s younger sister, is a 20-year-old Stanford University student who is anticipated to graduate in 2025.
