BETHA Program 2025 for Emirati Students through the ICT Fund

For the academic year 2025–2026, Emirati students who plan to pursue undergraduate or graduate courses are encouraged to apply to the ICT Fund BETHA Program. By establishing a Betha program for undergraduate and graduate students interested in studying ICT-related subjects, the ICT Fund hopes to improve technology education in the United Arab Emirates.

In order to help develop a generation of highly qualified students who can steer the UAE’s future in the ICT sector, the ICT Fund grants scholarships to deserving students through its partnerships with various universities and research organizations. Thus far, the Betha program has enabled Emirati students to pursue their education in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Australia, and Japan by awarding hundreds of scholarships for bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

  • Study in: UAE, USA, Australia or Japan
  • Opportunity Focus Areas: Telecommunications and information technology
  • Program Period: Four years for undergraduate and two years for masters
  • Deadline: No specific deadline (Applications are open now)

Requirements for Emirati Students to Qualify for the ICT Fund BETHA Program 2025

The following requirements must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the ICT Fund BETHA Program for Emirati Students.
English is a required language, and the United Arab Emirates is an eligible nation.
The Postgraduate (Master’s) Degree program’s admission requirements are:

  • Must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates and present proof of citizenship from a civil registry;
    Apply for a specialization in information technology and telecommunications;
    Have a cumulative bachelor’s degree score of 3.00 or higher;
    Not have received any financial aid, including scholarships, from any other source; • If employed, the master’s degree student is eligible for the scholarship without the monthly allowance.
    Requirements for admission to the undergraduate Bachelor’s degree program:
  • Must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates and present a civil registry as proof;
    Must have completed secondary school or its equivalent within the last three years;
    Must have obtained a minimum score of 75% in secondary school or its equivalent in schools;
    Must apply for a specialization in the field of telecommunications and information technology;
    Must not be employed
    Must not have been the recipient of any financial aid, including scholarships, from any other organization.

 

How Can I Apply for the BETHA Program of the ICT Fund?

To apply for the ICT Fund BETHA Program for Emirati Students, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Please make clear copies of the admissions/full acceptance letter. (We will not accept conditional approvals.)
Undergraduate students who have earned a Certified High School Certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education or its equivalent (displaying the final outcome)
Transcript for students pursuing an undergraduate degree (an official transcript bearing the records office’s seal (stamp) and signature)
The family book (every page, no exceptions)
A formal IBAN letter including the bank’s signature and seal (stamp).

  • Only new students who have not yet enrolled in or begun their studies at the university are eligible for this request.
