Before completing high school, a 17-year-old girl graduates from a US institution and plans to pursue a PhD at age 22.
Even though she is still in high school, a 17-year-old girl called Grace Leed has earned a degree from Luzerne County Community College in Pennsylvania, USA.
Grace, a Nanticoke girl and senior at Greater Nanticoke Area High School, managed to balance her college and high school coursework at the same time. She graduated from Luzerne County Community College in the United States with an associate’s degree.
“I’m really proud of myself for persevering despite the challenges of juggling high school coursework, LCCC coursework, and athletics. It’s a fantastic achievement and really cool. I’m ecstatic. A lot of time management was required. That was basically the secret to everything,” she stated.

She balanced a part-time job with her courses in high school and college. In addition to her involvement in extracurricular activities, Grace served as the treasurer of the National Honor Society chapter at her school.
In addition, Grace participated in cross-country, basketball, track & field, and field hockey. She credited her parents for helping her succeed and for motivating her to reach her objectives.
According to Grace, her goal is to earn a doctorate in physical therapy so that she can eventually treat athletes. She stated that since she had obtained her associate’s degree, she would be able to achieve her goal in five years or fewer.
In a different story, a 17-year-old boy named Abram Lewis, who is still a high school student, received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University Northwest, Indiana, in the United States.
