Requirements for the 2025 University of Queensland RTP Scholarship:
To be eligible for the University of Queensland RTP Scholarship in 2025, you need to:
- have a UQ enrolling school or institute propose you.
- be evaluated by the Graduate School as fulfilling all requirements for admission to the research program for a higher degree.
- be enrolled in a higher degree by research program without receiving a living allowance award or scholarship that benefits more than 75% of the RTP Scholarship living allowance rate.
How to Apply (Step by Step) for the 2025 University of Queensland Graduate School Scholarship
Prior to submitting an application, you should:
- Speak with a researcher who specializes in the field and obtain their support for your idea.
- Get your paperwork ready;
- Verify your eligibility for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
When you apply for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), you are also applying for this scholarship. A separate scholarship application is not required.
Choose “Scholarship and Collaborative Study” on your application to indicate that you would like to be considered for a UQ scholarship, which would pay for tuition fees and a living allowance stipend.
