The University of Auckland Scholarships will offer:
• Up to 50 scholarships worth up to $10,000 each for undergraduate and graduate education will be given out each year.
• The scholarship will be used as a mandatory tuition credit for the University of Auckland’s first semester of classes. Only payments associated with the pertinent course of study, plus the Student Services Fee, are considered mandatory.
Qualifications for Scholarships at the University of Auckland
The following criteria must be met in order for a candidate to be eligible for University of Auckland Scholarships:
• English is the required language.
• All nations in the world are eligible.
• This scholarship is not available to students enrolled in research master’s programs.
• New Zealand secondary school dropouts and undergraduate students from the University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
• Students need to be registered as “on Campus.” Students who are enrolled in distant learning programs will not be able to apply.
- Students who are not citizens, permanent residents, or holders of an Australian or New Zealand resident visa are considered international students.
• There is no way to postpone the scholarship until the subsequent semester. It will be necessary to submit a fresh scholarship application.
• Any other scholarship may be awarded in conjunction with this one.• Students must be foreign nationals applying for an undergraduate degree or a master’s degree (taught) with at least 120 points (with overseas secondary or post-secondary degrees).
