Qualifications for the 2025 Hubert Humphrey Fellowship:
Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for a Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program:
• Be citizens of an eligible nation;
• Have an undergraduate degree (first university or bachelor’s);
• Have at least five years of full-time professional experience;
• Have a track record of community service and leadership;
• Have limited experience in the United States;
• Have demonstrated proficiency in the English language.

This opportunity is entirely financed. It includes:
- Pre-academic English language instruction, if necessary;
- Maintenance (living) allowance, including a one-time settling-in allowance;
- Accident and sickness coverage;
- Book allowance;
- One-time computer subsidy;
- Air travel (international travel to and from the U.S. for the Program and domestic travel to required program events);
- Professional Development allowance for professional activities, such as field trips, professional visits, and conferences;
- Payment of tuition and fees at the assigned host university;
Required Documents for the 2025 Humphrey Fellowship:
Interested candidates must submit an application through the Binational Fulbright Commission or the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in their nation. Applications must include:
- Detailed responses to every question; English essay responses must fully address the prompt.
- Two English-language letters of recommendation, one of which needs to come from the candidate’s present employment.
- English-language official transcripts: Verify that the applicant has uploaded only legitimate, official transcripts. Courses taken and grades earned must be listed on transcripts. Diplomas need only be uploaded if the transcript does not show proof that the degree was obtained.
