A young woman eventually receives a UK Chevening scholarship to pursue her master’s degree after three rejections.
She stated that she is an orphan and that her extended family has paid for her tertiary studies. She had a strong ambition to pursue a postgraduate degree, and the only way to realize this objective was through scholarship.
According to Rita, she began applying for scholarships in 2019 and was turned down multiple times, but she persisted in trying. She also mentioned that, in addition to the several rejections, she received partial scholarship offers worth over $100,000, but she declined them since she preferred fully financed scholarships.
