Kehinde Oladeji, a young Nigerian woman, has accomplished a remarkable achievement by simultaneously landing a lectureship at Western Michigan University in the United States and a scholarship for a Master’s degree.
Kehinde Oladeji was offered a job as a graduate teaching assistant at Western Michigan University in the United States while also obtaining a fully supported scholarship to pursue her master’s degree there.
Kehinde posted on Twitter about her accomplishment of receiving a scholarship and a job offer, expressing her excitement and eagerness about the offers. She said she never considered applying for a scholarship because she thought it was only for students who received consecutive As.

She said that because she had a strong profile, a mentor had urged her to apply for scholarships in the US. According to Kehinde, she applied with skepticism to five universities.
Fortunately, a few months after she had discontinued her applications, she was offered a fully financed scholarship to study for a Master of Arts degree in Communication at Western Michigan University, United States.
Kehinde went on to say that in addition to receiving a scholarship to pursue her master’s degree at the university, she was also given the opportunity to work there as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where she would instruct undergraduate students.
A few months later, I was offered a full scholarship to Western Michigan University to study communication. In addition to being a student, I would also be a professor instructing undergraduates,” she stated.

In 2016, Kehinde graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Russian from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. After that, she continued her post-graduate studies in mass communication and media studies at National Open University Nigeria.
She conveyed her appreciation to her mentor for all of his help, inspiration, and direction during her application process. Kehinde also expressed gratitude to her lecturers, professors, and family for recommending her to the university.
