A young Nigerian woman who hopes to become a software engineer gets an internship at Microsoft.

Matilda Duku, a young woman from Nigeria, has been hired by Microsoft as a software engineer intern.

To become a certified software engineer, cloud engineer Matilda Duku secured an internship with Microsoft Africa Development Center.

Microsoft’s significant effort to promote software engineering and technology in the West African region is the Microsoft Africa Development Center.

Matilda thanked the Microsoft Africa Development Centre, West Africa, for providing her with the chance and shared her success in landing the internship on LinkedIn.

She expressed her gratitude to them for providing her with the chance to learn from the top tech experts and for allowing her to be a part of worthwhile projects.

Matilda thanked the United Nations Development Program Nigeria and the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Program for giving her the chance to be paired with Microsoft, West Africa.

She graduated from Delta State University with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in the same field. Matilda continued on to Altschool Africa after completing her master’s degree, where she obtained a certificate in cloud engineering.

She expressed her gratitude to AltSchool Africa for giving her a broad range of skills that were essential in helping her land the Microsoft internship.

Matilda stated that she is excited to set off on the enlightening route and that her trip ahead is full of promise and excitement.
