At Covenant University in Nigeria, Oyakhire Halima Sadia, a bright Nigerian woman, had a remarkable cumulative grade point average of 4.91 out of 5.00 and graduated with first-class honors in Petroleum Engineering.
Halima received a ₦150,000 cash reward and the title of Best Graduating Student in her department for her outstanding achievement.
Halima celebrated her accomplishment on LinkedIn, calling her academic path both gratifying and difficult. She conveyed her appreciation for every second and the amazing people that helped and encouraged her.
Halima said in an interview with Vanguard Nigeria that it was difficult to balance leadership responsibilities and extracurricular activities with her education, but she is thankful for the opportunity and proud of her achievements.

Halima is passionate about innovation and sustainable growth, and she aspires to become a leader in the energy sector, specifically in the oil and gas industry.
She also has a keen interest in fashion and aspires to contribute her own concepts to the field.She added, “I also have a strong interest in the fashion industry and introducing my own concepts to the fashion industry.”
In the future, Halima hopes to continue her studies in the energy sector, acquire management and business development expertise, work as a leader in organizations that value sustainability, and eventually launch her own fashion brand and oil and gas company.
Since the joy of accomplishing goals on some days will outweigh the dread of failing on others, Halima exhorts other students to follow their objectives with confidence and without fear of failure.
She thanked her parents, brothers, and friends for their unwavering love and support. According to Halima, her accomplishment both the thrilling start of a new chapter and the close of an old one.
