A talented Nigerian lawyer celebrates enlisting in the US Army.

Despite working as a consultant for KPMG, one of the top professional services firms in the world, Abdulaziz Bakare, a talented Nigerian lawyer and barrister, has hailed joining the US Army as an officer.

You can become a permanent resident of the United States of America (USA) and receive other family benefits by enlisting in the US Army as an immigrant.

Between 2008 and 2013, Abdulaziz Bakare attended Lagos State University (LASU) to study law. He then went on to Nigerian Law School, where he was appointed a solicitor and barrister to the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

After finishing his studies in Nigeria, he relocated to the US and earned a master’s degree in national security law and cyber security from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

Abdulaziz Bakare, who holds a Master’s degree in law, began working as an advisory consultant for KPMG USA in 2020 before enlisting in the US Army.

Abdulaziz posted on LinkedIn to celebrate his accomplishment, saying he is ecstatic after taking an oath to uphold, defend, and serve the US Constitution.

He said on LinkedIn, “I’m honored to announce that I recently completed my Combat Training and took an oath to serve, defend, and uphold the Constitution of the United States as I joined the US Army at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.”

He said he is looking forward to the special experiences and chances the Army offers. “Although I’m thrilled about the Army’s special opportunities and experiences, I’m more proud and honored to serve a nation that has given me so much in such a short time and be a part of something greater than myself,” he stated. I’m excited to serve in the Army and balance it with my responsibilities at KPMG right now.

He expressed gratitude to his friends, family, and fellow US Army personnel for their encouragement and support.
