A remarkable 12-year-old girl receives a scholarship grant of over N500K for using her self-made business to feed other kids.

Zita Ejike, a remarkable 12-year-old Nigerian girl, has been awarded a scholarship worth over 500,000 Nigerian Naira. She uses her own business to provide food for schoolchildren.

At the age of nine, Zita began working to guarantee that no homeless kid goes hungry in 2020. She later founded a business called ZEE SHEA HUB after becoming interested in the creation of natural skin and hair care products.

As this has always been her goal, she utilizes the money from her shea butter sales to feed and clothe the less fortunate, keeping only what she needs to restock.

In honor of her extraordinary performance, Airtel Nigeria, one of the top telecoms firm in the country, presented her with scholarships.

The firm said in a statement that Zita’s determination to use her hard-earned money to support other kids is admirable and inspirational.

“A 12-year-old kidpreneur named Zita Ejike has inspired us by demonstrating to the world that anyone, at any age, can make a difference,” the company stated.

But Airtel said they are helping Zita realize her dream by providing her with high-tech tools for her Shea butter business, including a 1000–10,000-liter industrial liquid mixing machine, a 20-tray shrink wrap packaging machine, and a 100 kg digital computing scale.

She was also given a N500,000 scholarship by the corporation to continue her education.
