A little girl who was saved from homelessness wins her first school test and is poised to succeed as an artist.
Odunayo, a young Nigerian girl who was saved from homelessness and enrolled in junior school, has passed her first exam.
A kindhearted man named Tunde Onakoya saved Odunayo from a Lagos street where she was selling fish. Tunde claims that Odunayo and her brother were saved two years ago while they were hawking rather than attending school.
He explained that because Odunayo was unable to enroll in school, she had experienced multiple waves of assault. “I vowed to be a part of lives and keep them safe forever on this day,” Tunde remarked.

Later, he provided a fully paid scholarship to support her studies, and two years later, he posted updates on Odunayo’s development on Twitter. “Today marks exactly two years since I met Odunayo selling fish on Majidun Ikorodu Street with her younger brother,” he stated. Although a lot has transpired since then, she finished her first year of school and passed her exams two weeks ago.
Tunde went on to say that Odunayo is particularly interested in the arts and is an active member of the cultural dance club at her church and school, therefore her aim is to become a performer.
He asked renowned Nigerian actor Lateef Oladimeji to come to Odunayo and tell her that her aspirations are real.
