A gifted Nigerian mathematician earns a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 4.91/5.00 and a master’s degree from a UK university.
Tobi George-Oyediran, a gifted Nigerian mathematician, completed her master’s degree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom after earning her bachelor’s degree with a grade point average of 4.91 above 5.00.
At Babcock University in Ogun, Nigeria, Tobi earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics with an exceptional first-class honors of 4.91 out of a possible 5.00 cumulative grade point average.
She went on to obtain her master’s degree in computational mathematics at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Tobi celebrated her success in earning the degree on LinkedIn.
“I am extremely pleased to announce that I have earned a Master’s degree in Financial and Computational Mathematics from the University of Nottingham,” she said.

Tobi said that she made an impression during her year at the University of Nottingham by serving on the Knowledge Exchange Committee. She stated that she represented postgraduate students in the Faculty of Science.
She added that she got the chance to take part in student activities and programs with firms including Infyos, Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, Wise, Glencore, AmplifyME, and Goldman Sachs.
She conveyed her appreciation to all of the wonderful people she encountered during her time as a university student. As a Quantitative Trading Analyst with STX Group, Tobi stated that she is eager to put her newfound expertise to use.
In a different narrative, Oboni David, a young man who had difficulty with mathematics in high school, graduated with an exceptional 4.63/5.00 grade point and a first-class degree in mathematics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
