A gifted Nigerian economist will receive a UK Chevening scholarship and receive free tuition to the University of Liverpool to complete a master’s degree.
Damilare Gideon Ojo, a talented Nigerian economist, has been awarded the coveted Chevening Scholarship to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
Damilare Ojo earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. He posted on LinkedIn about his accomplishment of receiving a full scholarship from Chevening to pursue a master’s degree.
Out of the 70,000 applicants from all over the world, Damilare said he was thrilled to be awarded the scholarship. He received a fully paid scholarship to the University of Liverpool to pursue a master’s degree.

He stated that because he has always had a strong interest in the creation of monetary policy and the research that goes into it, he will be pursuing a master’s degree in economics at the University of Liverpool.
Damilare declared that his primary focus would be monetary formulation, adding that he is eager to learn from academics who support the study and development of monetary policy for decision-makers in mature economies.
He conveyed his appreciation to his friends and mentors for their support, encouragement, and direction throughout the application process. They assisted him in reviewing his essays, he continued, and they gave me a practice interview.
According to Damilare, he is looking forward to the next year and believes it will be exciting. “I’m excited for the many opportunities and adventures it promises to bring,” he said.
