A gifted 16-year-old African boy completes high school and, at age 22, becomes a doctor.
Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi, a bright young man, completed high school at the age of sixteen and, at the age of twenty-two, earned a degree in medicine.
Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi graduated from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB;BS). He completed medical school at a significantly earlier age than the usual 25 or 26-year-old.
Kwaku was able to achieve the milestone of graduating from the University Of Cape Coast (UCC) School of Medical Sciences at 23 due to his early graduation from high school. After graduating from high school, he was accepted to the university to study medicine.
Kwakwu participated actively in extracurricular activities and his schoolwork during his high school years. He was the President of the House Fellowship and a member of the Butler House at the institution.
Kwaku posted stunning images on his Twitter account, showcasing his accomplishment of becoming a doctor at a young age. He said that he spent six years obtaining his medical degree.

Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi at last. “Thank God it’s finally over after six long years,” he tweeted. His high school administration celebrated him for following their values and congratulated him on his accomplishment on Facebook.
His achievement is proof of our students’ excellence and standards, and we are honored to name him our own. They wrote, “We hope he continues to represent Prempeh College with pride and wish him all the best.”
In a different story, Taida Mapara, a remarkable 14-year-old girl from Zimbabwe, was accepted to the University of Malawi College of Medicine, setting a remarkable record as one of the youngest African students ever accepted to a university.
Taida Mapara made exceptional academic achievement, finishing the 13-year primary and high school curriculum in just 8 years. She continued her study at Albright Science College in Zimbabwe, where she received three As in biology, chemistry, and mathematics in the June 2020 A’ Level Cambridge exams.
