A brilliant woman who received a first-class degree from university goes on to receive another first-class degree in law school.
AFRICA | After receiving first-class grades in both law school and university, Christiana Onyinyechi Ufomba, a talented Nigerian woman, accomplished a unique feat.
In 2020, Christiana received the award for best-graduating student in her faculty after graduating with a first-class Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Abia State University in Nigeria.
After graduating, she went on to the Nigerian Law School to work as a solicitor and barrister for the Nigerian Supreme Court. Christiana received another first-class mark after completing a year of study at the Nigerian Law School, where she aced every exam.

Christiana stated in an interview with Edureaders that she was resolved to give it her all and put in the required work, even if she had not originally planned to finish with a first-class grade.
After being chosen for a scholarship examination by the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) in her final year of undergraduate studies, Christiana disclosed that she discovered her grade point was a first class. When she learned that, she worked even harder to keep my CGPA high.
She persevered despite obstacles that nearly demoralized her, such as a 4-unit course that was recorded wrongly.
She remarked, “I nearly gave up at one point, especially after my grade in a four-unit course was recorded incorrectly, but I persisted and eventually succeeded.”
Christiana developed a more rigorous study style in order to duplicate her undergraduate performance in law school. She read and rewrote previous exam questions, memorized pertinent authorities, and quadrupled her study time at the institution.
On the days when I was too weak to study, I looked over previous questions and listened to my notes that were recorded on my phone.In law school, I was really deliberate. I went to every class and gave every word that was spoken in class my full attention,” she claimed.
In the future, Christiana hopes to work with companies that will allow her to hone her abilities, manage engaging assignments, and get knowledge from the most accomplished professionals.
She also plans to continue my education soon at prestigious universities including New York University, Stanford Law School, Harvard Law School, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Oxford.
