At Babcock University in Nigeria, Nnaji Treasure Chidiogo, a remarkable Nigerian woman, has broken two academic records. She graduated with nine distinctions with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree.
Additionally, Treasure received the 2024 class’s overall best-graduating student award from her university. She became the first medical graduate to gain a distinction in Community Health and the first to earn the degree with nine distinctions.

Celebrating her triumph on Instagram, Treasure expressed thankfulness to God for guiding her through her academic journey.
The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria honored her accomplishments at the ninth induction event for 93 medical professionals.
In recognition of Treasure’s exceptional accomplishment, the Nigerian Medical Association’s Ogun State section also gave her a plaque and a ₦200,000 cash prize.
In another case, a 24-year-old woman named Aarinola Olaiya achieved a medicine degree with an impressive 12 top distinctions, breaking a 28-year-old record set by Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.
With 12 honors since the college’s founding, Aarinola Olaiya became the first student to graduate from the College of Medicine at Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun, Nigeria.
