A brilliant couple makes history by graduating from a US university with a PhD jointly.
In the United States of America (USA), a clever husband and wife graduated simultaneously with their PhDs from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
On Twitter, Dr. Danielle Procope Bell, an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee, posted adorable pictures from their commencement. She talked about how happy she and her husband were with their achievement and made sure to include their son, who was in the picture with them.
She remarked, “My toddler stole the show, but my husband and I finished our PhDs.”

Dr. Danielle Procope Bell graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, with a Bachelor of Art in Philosophy and English. She continued on to the University College London in England to earn her master’s degree.
She earned a master’s degree in comparative literature and, concurrently with her spouse, a doctorate in English from the University of Tennessee in the United States.
