A bright young woman receives a Computer Systems degree from a US institution with a 4.00 GPA and is named the top student.
A bright woman called Blaise Davenport received the title for top graduating student from Virginia State University in the United States after earning a degree in computer science with a 4.00 grade point average.
Blaise graduated from Virginia State University in the United States with a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems. She was named the valefdictorian of her class after graduating with the best grade point total.
Blaise shared her accomplishment on Linkedin, saying she is thrilled to have closed a chapter in her life and begun a new one. I finished one chapter today and started a new one. I’m prepared to take on the world and leave my mark now that I have my diploma,” she declared.
She outlined all of her accomplishments during her time as a student and after graduating. Blaise was an honors student who received a flawless 4.00/4.00 Summa Cum Laude mark upon graduation.
Blaise was the first female student to attend Oxford University from a historically black college or university. She completed with an A in Business, Technology, Innovation, Inequality/Performance & Risk Management, and a Visiting Student Program.
She added that she was accepted full-ride to graduate school at Columbia University and Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. Blaise claimed to have finished more than six internships and obtained five technical certifications.

Blaise said that she held leadership roles and participated in a variety of extracurricular activities. She was elected President of the Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter, Captain of the National Cyber League, and the 2022 and 2023 Outstanding Senior of the Year.
She thanked her Trojan family for assisting her in becoming the lady she is today. Blaise expressed her gratitude to the university and said she will always be proud of it.
Blaise claimed that without God and the steadfast assistance of mentors, family, and friends, the success would not have been possible. She also expressed gratitude to everyone who had faith in her.
