A 9-year-old boy who excels in school in the United States will graduate with a degree in astrophysics at the age of twelve.
David Balogun, a 9-year-old smart kid, has broken all previous records at Reach Cyber Charter School in Pennsylvania, USA, becoming the school’s youngest-ever graduate with an amazing 4.0 GPA.
David Balogun finished high school at the age of nine, although the typical age in the United States is eighteen. He is now pursuing his dream of becoming an astrophysicist in college.
David talked about how he was able to graduate from high school nine years ahead of his peers. He said that he didn’t want to attend college early, but he made it his mission after realizing it was feasible.

“I just wanted to graduate early at first. The teacher then suggested that I move on to the fourth grade after third grade. I therefore made the decision to graduate at the age of ten at that point,” David remarked.
He went on to say that at the age of nine, his mother, Ronya Balogun, encouraged him to fulfill his dream before he had intended to. According to my mother, if you work hard, we will support you and you should be able to graduate at nine years old. I therefore made the decision to graduate at the age of nine,” he continued.
In 2020, David started an accelerated program that used online courses and year-round study with a strong interest in a range of areas.
Learning new things is my favorite subject, according to my mother. I’ll be glad to learn something new, whether it’s in social studies, English, physics, math, or the arts,” David remarked.
David’s mother, Ronya Balogun, called her son’s voyage “exciting.” At seven years old, he was bouncing up and down when he heard the phrase “S.T.E.M.” program. “All right,” I responded, “this is our destination and our course of action.” He was immediately enamored with it. “The journey has been incredible,” she told WHTM.
According to her, the whole family is incredibly pleased of his accomplishment and is now looking into Ivy League universities, such as Harvard, Princeton, and the University of Pennsylvania, for him to pursue his goal of becoming an astrophysicist.
“It has always been my joy to see my son in this position today,” said David’s father, Henry Balogun.
The parent encouraged other parents to help their children whenever they could. “It’s really fulfilling, but you have to think creatively, be able to see beyond the system, advocate, speak up, and never give up,” Ronya Balogun said.
Encourage them and have faith in them, even if they are doubting themselves. Simply have faith in them, and I urge my son, “Go as far as you want to go.”
“You can go anywhere you want to go. Your dreams have no boundaries,” she continued.
