A 16-year-old boy who plans to become a banker graduates from a US university before completing high school.
Even though he is still in high school, Addison Davis, a bright 16-year-old lad, has earned a degree from the University of Maine in the United States.
The University of Maine awarded Davis, a student at Van Buren Secondary School in Maine, the United States, an associate’s degree in Liberal Studies. He claimed that as a student in high school, he began enrolling in college classes.
He claimed that he was inspired to enroll in college courses and double his coursework since doing so would increase his chances of receiving scholarships and being accepted into a prestigious university. At the University of Maine, Davis completed 21 classes and got 64 credits.

Davis completed high school with six college credits, or the equivalent of two semesters, after taking part in the early college program, according to Samantha Warren, the University of Maine System Director of Government and Community Relations.
At Van Buren, Davis participated in extracurricular activities and varsity sports while simultaneously completing an associate’s degree and high school diploma. He participated in the JA (Junior Achievement) Titan Challenge, Future Business Leaders of America, and the National Honor Society.
It’s simply what I do. I believe my time management skills are fairly strong. I’m not very impacted by the college courses. I finish my work. I work on my college assignments one or two days a week, and then I focus on my schoolwork the rest of the week,” he stated.
Davis was accepted to the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and San Diego State University as a result of his diligence and perseverance. “I hope to get into either the University of Southern California or the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),” he said.
In high school, Davis said, his favorite subjects were accounting, arithmetic, and business communications. In college, he said, he likes statistics, English composition, and history.
According to Davis, he intends to pursue a career in finance and aspires to work as an investment banker. “I’d like to work in finance. After that, I want to work in investment banking because I believe it’s fantastic. “I thought it would be beneficial for me, so I just found myself looking into it,” he stated.
