A 60-year-old man celebrates earning his bachelor’s degree.

After graduating from the University of South Africa in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree, Fanie De Waal, a sixty-year-old South African, accomplished an extraordinary feat.

Among Fanie De Waal’s prior academic credentials in mechanical engineering are the Government Certificate of Competency as a Mechanical Engineer and the National High Diploma. But it wasn’t until he was sixty years old that he was able to earn the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree.

He posted on Linkedin to celebrate his accomplishment, showing how happy he was to receive the degree at a time when he was semi-retired.

The Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Business Management degree was given to him.

He is currently the general manager of FDW Solutions after serving as a manager in a number of different businesses. He has received congratulations for attaining such a high academic level at the age of 60 from academics and well-wishers worldwide.

Many scholarships for master’s and doctoral degrees are available to those with a bachelor’s degree. Numerous scholarship awards worldwide provide financial aid to students attending prestigious colleges in the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and other countries.
