The Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship 2025 offers an exceptional chance for overseas students to pursue a fully supported Master’s degree in Belgium.
The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training awards Mastermind scholarships to students from around the world for a master’s programmes in Flanders and Brussels.
Qualifications for the 2025 Master Mind Scholarship
You must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible for the Master Mind Scholarship:
A strong academic record is required of the applicant:
A 3.5 out of 4.0 grade point average: The GPA Calculator at www.scholaro.com/
- An adequate command of the English language:
o a minimum IELTS band score of 7.0;
o a minimum TOEFL total score of 94;
o a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) C1 level;
o or comparable outcomes in another approved English language test;
o IELTS and TOEFL online language tests will also be accepted.
Except for international students engaged in preparatory courses in preparation for beginning a master’s degree in September, only students who are not currently enrolled at a Flemish higher education institution are eligible.
• Students who merely sign up for distance learning, bridge, or preparatory programs are not eligible.
• All nationalities are welcome to apply, with the exception of Russian, although the prior degree must have come from a university outside of Flanders.This award cannot be combined with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or another Flemish government scholarship.
Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship 2025 Benefits
- A €10,000 grant and a tuition fee waiver for each academic year (60 ECTS) are included in a Master Mind Scholarship.
- Master Mind Scholarship holders only pay an administrative enrolment fee. The grant is paid in instalments and covers accommodation costs, insurances and a significant amount of their living expenses.
How to Apply for Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship 2025 (Step by Step)
To apply for the Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should follow the steps below;
- Step 1: Submit a completed application file (with all the needed documents) for the relevant Master programme at UHasselt (see application procedure) before the deadline of the individual master course. • Step 2: Complete this Master Mind application form by 15/03/2025 Please be aware that the following files must be uploaded to the application form: o Two English-language recommendation letters from instructors at your (former) home university, university, or most recent workplace.
