AFRICA | Actor John Dumelo of Ghana earns a master’s degree in law.
John Setor Dumelo, a well-known politician and actor from Ghana, has expanded his resume by obtaining a Master of Laws degree from the University of Ghana with a Natural Resources concentration.
Dumelo posted images from his graduation ceremony to Instagram along with words of thanks and happiness.
“Today, I received my Master of Law (Natural Resources) degree from the University of Ghana Law School. Praise be to God! He said, “#idey4u #3rdmasters #PraiseGod.”

Dumelo’s dedication to lifelong study is demonstrated by this most recent achievement, which represents his third Master’s degree.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he started his academic career.
At the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Dumelo continued his studies and graduated with a degree in public administration. His reputation as a committed student was cemented in July 2022 when he earned his second Master’s degree, also from GIMPA.
In a different story, the Silverbird Group in Nigeria presented Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress, with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Jenifa, whose real name is Funke Akindele, is a Nigerian politician, producer, director, actor, and filmmaker. She dedicated the honor to her fans and her loved ones and thanked them on Instagram after sharing the accomplishment.
