Italy’s 2025 Politecnico di Milano Scholarships | Detailed Procedure
Applications for interested and eligible individuals who wish to attend the esteemed university in Italy are now being accepted for the Politecnico di Milano Postgraduate Scholarships.
The Politecnico di Milano Postgraduate Scholarships are completely supported, paying for all tuition costs and providing chosen applicants with an annual living stipend of up to 10,000 EUR.

Scholarship Information:
The most gifted international applicants accepted into a Master of Science program for the first or second semester are eligible to apply for a variety of merit-based scholarships from Politecnico di Milano. The only cost for students who get a scholarship is a non-refundable administrative charge of roughly €200.
There is no separate application for scholarships; all accepted students who have a complete dossier (including a language certificate by the deadline) will be immediately considered for the available merit-based scholarships. Three scholarship programs are run by the Politecnico di Milano.
Scholarship Requirements:
- The selection criteria are based on the evaluation of your previous education and its match with the requirements for our Laurea Magistrale programmes.
- Obviously GPA (grade point average) and academic achievements (including the portfolio when requested) are of utmost importance.
- Finally, a nicely written motivation letter will contribute substantially to a good judgment by the Scholarship Awarding Committee.
Scholarship Reward and Duration
- Platinum Scholarships: worth 10,000 euros gross annually and a waiver of tuition. Each year, the recipient will receive two or three installments of the scholarship amount (after taxes) in their bank account. The sole cost to the student will be an administrative one.
- GOLD Scholarships, which waive tuition and are worth 5,000 euros annually. Each year, the recipient will receive two or three installments of the scholarship amount (after taxes) in their bank account. The sole cost to the student will be an administrative one.
- Silver Scholarships
The full cost of fees for the academic year is covered in accordance with a tuition fee waiver. The sole cost to the student will be an administrative one.
Documents Needed
Candidates must be prepared to submit the following paperwork in order to apply:
- Academic records
- Research outcomes: To demonstrate their scholarly accomplishments and research skills, they have published theses, received awards, etc.
- A research proposal or study plan (for PhD applicants).
- Letters of recommendation.
- A letter of motivation
Application Method
There is no need for a separate scholarship application; all accepted students who have a complete dossier (including a language certificate before the deadline) will be automatically considered for the available merit-based scholarships.
