The 2025 Akwa Ibom State Government Undergraduate Bursary Program: How to Apply
Eligible undergraduate students enrolled in Federal and State universities in Nigeria are currently eligible to receive bursary grants from the Akwa Ibom State Government.

Professional courses such as engineering, medicine, law, agriculture, and education (leading to qualified teacher status) will earn ₦30,000, while qualifying students would receive ₦20,000.
As long as the requirements for keeping the scholarship are fulfilled, these students will receive it annually.

Details of the Akwa Ibom State Government Bursary:
The government is pleased to announce the opening of the updated Student Bursary and Support Grant Portal, a specialized online application tool created to make it easier for students to apply for the annual bursary payment.
This is an application portal for the annual student bursary, which is open to all Akwa Ibom State students enrolled in public (non-private) tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Scholarship from the Akwa Ibom State Government for 2025 Conditions:
You must be enrolled full-time, intelligent, but impoverished students at Federal or State Universities; be at least in your second year of study; have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.50 on a 5.00 scale; provide institution-provided testimonials; and present a certificate of origin from the appropriate Akwa Ibom State Local Government Council in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
- All recipients must submit academic results at the end of each session to determine their continued eligibility for the scholarship based on their CGPA, which will be verified by the Ministry of Education/State Scholarships Board;
• All applicants must be at least twenty-five (25) years old at the time of application;
• All applicants must state the financial status, occupation, and means of livelihood of their parents after completing the academic requirements;
Scholarship Reward and Duration
N20,000 will be given to eligible students, while N30,000 will be given to individuals pursuing professional programs in fields like as engineering, medicine, law, agriculture, and education that lead to qualified teacher status.

Documents Needed for the State of Akwa Ibom Scholarship
Candidates must be prepared to produce the following paperwork in order to apply: a valid student ID card, a valid student registration number, a valid admission letter, a valid certificate of origin, a valid school fee receipt, and the ability to finish our digital identification checks.
