Details of the 2025 UCL Humanitarian Scholarships:
These scholarships allow students who are seriously endangered or who have been displaced by armed conflict to enroll in UCL full-time for master’s degree programs.
International applicants may apply for this award from any countries outside of the United Kingdom.
On the basis of financial necessity and the panel’s recommendation, the UCL Humanitarian Scholarship is given out.
Qualifications for the 2025 UCL Humanitarian Scholarship
You must be an international student, be at serious risk due to armed conflict, have been displaced within the last three years due to armed conflict, and have sought international protection outside of the UK in order to be eligible for the 2025 UCL Humanitarian Scholarship. You must also be able to pay the overseas fee rate.

- have been offered a spot in your preferred full-time Master’s program at UCL by the beginning of the scholarship panel meeting in June 2025. Please be aware that part-time master’s degrees and online learning are not eligible for this award.
Benefits of the 2025 UCL Humanitarian Scholarship
- Up to four scholarships will be awarded in 2025–2026.
- For the duration of the regular course, the scholarship will cover all tuition costs plus a maintenance stipend of around £20,000 to cover living expenses and housing. Additionally, one return airfare, immigration expenses, and the Immigration Health Surcharge are included.
- Unless the full-time program lasts two years, the scholarship is only valid for one year.
